Oli Gosh combines her love of Techno and its dark pulsing intensity with inspiration springing from her mother’s Spanish upbringing and her love of Saura’s flamenco film, Carmen. This can most obviously be heard on the track Silva where flamenco stamping samples make up the heart of the track. Silva - the alchemy of unruly emotions. Silva - a metaphor for the mercurial mix of love, lust, passion and pain that one longs and dreads to feel. Every lover’s dream. Every lover’s nightmare.
